- When using the new e-mail program in order to change your e-mail password you need to go to Mail Administration. In the User Account field
enter your ID. The ID is no longer than eight alphabetic characters. In the Domain Name field enter poughkeepsieschools.org, and in the Password field enter your current password. To change
your password select the Change Password link.
- Website Conversion
Many pages have been converted to a much simpler format. The names of the converted pages do not end in the typical .htm, or .html, instead, they end in .php. Php is a scripting language that affords you
greater flexibility. For instance, the bottom (a.k.a. footer) of every converted page is coded as follows: include ("include/footer.php"); Every converted page has the same footer. To change the footer requires editing of one file,
footer.php. Once the footer file is changed and uploaded to the website, every page that includes it will reflect the changes!
