Its leadership team is composed of roughly 30 members of the community, elected officials, representatives of local colleges and members of the school district.

The cabinet is guided by its North Star mission to ensure that by 2033 more than 5,000 City of Poughkeepsie young people and their families will be connected to transformative opportunities that place them on pathways to postsecondary completion and socioeconomic mobility.

Visit the Children’s Cabinet’s website to learn more about the organization, how it partners with the Poughkeepsie City School District and see its community dashboard, which tracks education and household outcomes across the cradle-to-career continuum in order to measure progress.
