As we prepare for fall 2025 it's vitally important accurate addresses are on file with the district for all students. This is especially true this summer as the district prepares to offer bus service to most elementary students for the first time. Unfortunately, much of the mail being sent by the district is being returned due to inaccurate address information, and we need your help to change that. Visit the link to the Central Registration form below, or reach out to Central Registration by phone at 845-437-3480 or email at Centreg@poughkeepsieschools.org, to be sure your address is accurate.

The board has one open seat created when Hon. Thomas O’Neill resigned his position in advance of the third and final year of his term at the beginning of July. The board can fill the spot by either calling a special election within 90 days of the resignation to serve the remainder of her term, or by appointing a qualified person to occupy the seat until it can be contested in the next regular election on May 19, 2026.
