As we prepare for fall 2025 it's vitally important accurate addresses are on file with the district for all students. This is especially true this summer as the district prepares to offer bus service to most elementary students for the first time. Unfortunately, much of the mail being sent by the district is being returned due to inaccurate address information, and we need your help to change that. Visit the link to the Central Registration form below, or reach out to Central Registration by phone at 845-437-3480 or email at Centreg@poughkeepsieschools.org, to be sure your address is accurate.

The Poughkeepsie City School District’s Board of Education has begun to use “BoardDocs®,” a system designed to provide easy access to information and to eliminate the need to copy all of the documentation required for Board of Education meetings. Information is also more quickly available to the public via the Internet.
Now, meeting agendas, proposed resolutions, and background information are available at the click of a mouse.
By visiting the website,
Poughkeepsie’s Public Link to Board Docs,

The District maintains an online Policy Manual on BoardDocs that is searchable by keyword or policy name.
