PCSD asks families to review contact, location info in preparation of 2026-27 bus service
Posted Date: 07/22/26 (01:38 PM)
The Poughkeepsie City School District offers school bus transportation to many elementary students and others, and we need your help to ensure all eligible students are ready to be served in the fall.
- We are asking all families to review their address and contact information in the Infinite Campus platform to make sure the district has accurate information from which to enroll students into their proper school buildings, create bus routes and contact families promptly with any important information they may need to know.
If you review your address and find it needs to be updated, please do so through this change of address form or by contacting the Central Registration Office at 845-437-3480 or Centreg@poughkeepsieschools.org
- If you will be requesting an alternate pickup or drop off location for your student’s bus service, the form to make that request, linked here, must be filled out and returned to the district Central Registration Office by Aug. 14.
Any form received after Aug. 14 will not be able to be honored until Monday, Sept. 21.
Forms can be emailed to Centreg@poughkeepsieschools.org or delivered directly to the office inside the Jane Bolin Administration Building, located at 18 S. Perry St.
Under the Child Safety Zone program, the district can provide bus service to any elementary student who lives more than a half-mile radius away from their school, in addition to all pre-kindergarten students; students with disabilities, in accordance with their Individual Education Plan; and students in grades PK-5 who attend private and charter schools located within the city.

We thank you for your attention to this matter and look forward to seeing you in the fall!
