Learn about PCSD special education opportunities at Parent Workshop Aug. 31
Want to learn more about special education in the Poughkeepsie City School District and other programs supported by the Office of Students with Exceptionalities?
Come to the Jane Bolin Administration Building Monday, Aug. 31 for the first OSWE Parent Workshop of the 2026-27 school year!
At the 10 a.m. session you can meet the district’s OSWE team, learn about programs and supports available to district children, gain an understanding of special education in New York and ask questions to better support your student’s needs. Plus, light refreshments will be provided.
RSVP to Mary Gilmore at mgilmore@poughkeepsieschools.org by Aug. 26.
Poughkeepsie’s OSWE supports students through a wide range of programs; you may not even be aware your student qualifies for some of the services provided until you meet with the team. You can also visit Poughkeepsieschools.org/oswe to learn more about programs offered.
Come to the Jane Bolin Building’s bottom floor board room at 18 S. Perry St. in Poughkeepsie to attend the one-hour session at 10 a.m. Aug. 31. We look forward to meeting you there!
