Are you using ParentSquare? What to know about PCSD's communication tool

Are you using ParentSquare? If not, you could be missing out on important updates and information from your school and the Poughkeepsie City School District.

ParentSquare is the tool the district uses for circulating news alerts, program information, student opportunities, community events and all the fun happenings around our buildings. And, all district families are automatically set up with access, tied to the email address they have on file.

ParentSquare allows families to customize how they receive messages, from text messages and notifications, to phone calls and emails, with an option for direct messaging district teachers and staff. There’s an app for the most complete experience, and all messages can be translated to the language of your choice.

For anyone who perhaps hasn’t yet heard about ParentSquare, is unsure of how to get started, or wants to make sure they are getting the most out of it, PCSD has a helpful webpage with videos explaining all the features. Visit it at Poughkeepsieschools.org/ParentSquare

And, ParentSquare is not just for families. Members of the community can request access to our CommunitySquare communication portal and receive the latest district news delivered directly to them.
